本系统以MSP430为核心发展一套呼吸肌电图讯号撷取平台
，用於撷取、纪录讯号以及去除横膈膜肌电讯号中的心电杂讯，
并从讯号中计算出相关的生理资讯，
如呼吸频率、心率与心率变异等资讯，
且透过USB将资料传至电脑端并於电脑端作分析进一步之处理、
分析(如肌电讯号的过零率及频谱功率分析)。
The respiratory EMG acquisition platform was integrated using a
microprocessor (MSP430) to acquire, save and process the EMG signal.
The processes of EMG signal were including
(1) the cancellation of ECG interference from diaphragmatic EMG;
(2) and the calculation for related physical information
such as respiratory rate, heart rate and heart rate variability etc.
When all of processes in platform had been done, the data could be conveyed to
computer by USB for further processes and analyses (such as the
zero-cross rate and the spectrum of signal).
