请教大家一个结构问题
The end of the eighteenth century saw the emergence of prize-stock breeding,
with individual bulls and cows receiving awards, fetching unprecedented
prices, and exciting enormous interest whenever they were put on show.
Q1: 我个人觉得saw是动词 the emergence of prize-stock breeding是受词
但是主词呢? The end of the eighteenth centurys 能当主词吗? 觉得很怪
还是我结构就解读错了?
Q2: with individual bulls and cows在这边的功用是?
修饰the emergence of prize-stock breeding吗?
省略了 which is 吗?
