有个句子看不懂～有请板有帮忙解惑^^
Regarding politics within political systems, theorists like Bodin and
Hobbes sought to define the ultimate source of authority,
against which rebellion was not a legitimate act.
问题点在於 against which，我看不懂这个片语（？）是什麽意思～
目前看到的译句是：
对政治体系内的政治，布丹和霍布斯等理论家想要界定权力的终极来源，
反叛不是合法的行为。
如果译法正确的话，against 就是「针对」的意思，而不是「反对」罗？
请知道的板友帮忙解释一下～～谢谢^^
