标题[文法] 分词中的主动与被动？

大家好，最近在学文法中的分词构句，现在分词有主动意味、过去分词有被动
1.The dog sat there with his tongue hanging out.
2.He stood in front of us with his arms folded.
例句1中，为何是用hanging，不是用被动？例句二中的arms是he他的其中一个部位
如果用被动的话，那tongue也是dog中的一个部位，但为何是用ing形式
3.He was sitting in the chair with his eyes closed.
4.He got out of the car with the engine running.
我连3、4句中何时用主与被动都搞混了~
