标题[文法] 某本考试用书文章的句子架构

想请教大家一下,
我在某一本考试用书的阅读文章遇到下面这句话.
The plentiful supply of labor,combined with the new machinery and processes
being developed made conditions ripe for an economy focused on manufacturing.
我一开始一为combined 是前面句子的形容词子句,一路看到句点整个糊涂了.
因此我拆解
S: The plentiful supply of labor,combined with the new machinery and
processes
V: made conditions ripe for an economy
不知道这样是否正确..
因此有以下几点疑问
1. supply of labor和combined with the XXXXX 这段他是怎样的的架构省略,可以只用
',' 分开
2. being 不省略是为了避免和主要子句动词made 混淆嘛?
还请各位高手不吝指教
