Every dog has his day.

这句谚语直译就是「每只狗都有好运的一天」，has one's day就是「某人得意的一天」，
因此这句话是说「每个人都有成功的机会」。
此话通常用在鼓励人「别灰心，尽管现在不得志，将来总有轮到你成功的一天」，
例如：Don't despair. Be patient. Remember every dog has his day!
（别绝望。要有耐心，别忘了风水会轮流转）。
这句话也可用在形容某人虽然不是那麽好，却在因缘际会下有了好运，例如一个其貌不扬
、各方面都平庸的男生，最後终於抱得美人归，这时你便可以说：
Well, every dog has his day!
要注意的是，这句谚语中虽然用到dog这个字，但没有贬意，非「小人得志」之意，因此
可以用在鼓励身边的人，要大家尽管一时丧志，还是要努力奋斗，因为总有一天好运会降
到自己头上。
实用对话Conversation
A: I heard that Jack is making a fortune these days, and that he just purchased a new car and moved into the Debao.
B: No kidding? Didn't he use to borrow money from you?
A: Yep. I remember back when he used to sell umbrellas during that big drought and hot pots during that warm winter we had a couple of years back.
B: Yeah. I remember that he used to lose money in all of his ventures.
A: I never thought I'd see the day when he would be raking in the dough!
B: Yeah, I guess every dog has his day.
A: 听说阿杰最近发了耶，刚刚买新车、搬进去「帝宝」说。
B: 真的喔？他以前不是还向你借过钱？
A: 是啊，还记得几年前，他卖雨伞时遇到大旱灾，卖火锅时又遇上大暖冬。
B: 对啊，我记得他那时投资什麽就垮什麽。
A: 没想到他竟然也有发达的一天啊！
B: 嗯，真是风水轮流转啊。
