Baseball America rates Dodger farm system No. 1 now, and things look promising for 2017 By Cary Osborne On top of the Dodgers’ being rated No. 1 in Baseball America’s 2016 Organization Talent Rankings, which were released on Thursday, and it being a fourth straight year in which the organization has risen on the list, the Dodgers appear poised to maintain the momentum on the minor league side into 2017 as well. Mieses was a much smaller signing a few years ago out of the Dominican Republic, and while there’s still some rawness to his game, particularly with pitch recognition, he’s a physical outfielder with solid tools across the board who has been pushed through the system at a quick pace.
