CAPARROS VISITS LA CORUNA

Joaquin Caparros traveled to La Coruna in order to attend a trainer's meeting
in the city. Several rumours appoints that the ex-Sevilla coach could have
secret reunion with Lendoiro in order to negotiate his incorporation to
Deportivo; however, Caparros said that he doesn't know anything about this
rumours.
Joaquin Caparros is attending an update reunion in order to improve the work
of the football coaches in Spain. He was received by a lot of journalist at
the airport since he's the main candidate to occupy the place left by Javier
Irureta. Caparros didn't want to confirm it, but he assures that it would be
a positive step in his career:
"There are signals of life... I'm a trainer
without a job and Depor is an important club. Anyone would like to come here
and coach Depor."
The ex-Sevilla trainer said also that he doesn't know anything about a
possible negotiation with Lendoiro, but he doesn't discard that his agent is
working on it: "My agent has the custom of not speaking to me until the
things are done. I don't know if there are problems in order to sign for
Depor, those are the things that only my agent knows."
IRURETA IS NEAR TO BENFICA
Meanwhile, Javier Irureta is trying to find a new job. In the last hours it
was known that Benfica is thinking of him as the possible successor of
Camacho and Trapattoni as the coach of the Portugese champions. Jabo said to
the media that it's an interesting option for him:
"It's a great club and I'm
sure that this is a good option for me. They will play Champions League on
the next season and I'm available for the moment."
INTEREST IN JUANPA
Juanpa admitted that Deportivo is interested in him. Numancia's defender said
that his agent told him about the situation: "My agent told me that Depor was
asking for me. At the moment I'm on vacations and I don't know anything
else." The player normally occupies the center zone of the defense, but he
could also play as a defensive midfielder.
