Eden Hazard is ready to resume negotiations with Chelsea over a new
contract but admits he could still end up joining Real Madrid.
Chelsea have yet to make Hazard a fresh offer, even though he has less
than two years remaining on his deal, and the Belgian admitted in July he
wanted to leave for the Bernabeu.
The club blocked Hazard from leaving and have been rewarded with the best
football of his career. It is understood Chelsea last discussed terms with
Hazard in December 2017, when they made him a ￡300,000-a-week offer.
Hazard intimated after Chelsea's 3-0 win at Southampton that he could wait
till the end of the season before making a decision on his future.

一切，就像现在一样。这样我就开心了。”
But the 27-year-old also revealed that the prospect of joining Real is
still on his mind, especially because he is aware there may be only one
more big move left in his career.
“那就是我为何在世界盃後说了那番话，当时我说是时候做出改变了，因为我踢
了一届非常棒的世界盃，我的表现很好。皇马是世界上最大的俱乐部，我不想撒谎，
皇马是我童年时的梦想，我曾梦想在那踢球。”
“有时候我一觉醒来，觉得我想去皇马，有时候又觉得我想留下，这是一个非常
困难的决定，这有关我的未来。我不想每天都讨论这事，我也没时间，但我觉得我们
很快就会开启关於我未来的谈判了。我是这麽认为的。”
Hazard wants to make it clear to Chelsea fans that if he does depart, it
will not be in the manner Thibaut - Courtois left Stamford Bridge. The
goalkeeper is now a hate figure among the club's supporters after going on
strike to force a ￡35million switch to Real in August. He had also
promised on many occasions last term that he was going to stay for this
season at the very least.

Finances are no more significant an issue in any contract talks. Sources
have told ESPN FC that Chelsea are prepared to make Hazard the
highest-paid player in the club's history to commit him to a new deal, and
they would put the contract and pen in front of him tomorrow if given the
slightest encouragement.
