The Commission ruled on charges related to the behaviour of supporters during the Carling Cup match between Chelsea and West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on October 27th 2004. The two clubs were charged with failing to ensure that spectators, and/or persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from threatening and/or violent and/or provocative behaviour. These charges were found to be proven at a Disciplinary Commission hearing on October 25th and Chelsea and West Ham were reprimanded and warned as to their future conduct today.
