The move has been touted for days and the two shot-stoppers have agreed six-month loan deals with their new respective clubs. Guardalben returns to Parma after previously spending three seasons at the Stadio Tardini as understudy to Gigi Buffon. The 31-year-old was keen for a transfer after Palermo were consistently linked with new custodians. Lupatelli (pictured) will be desperate to prove his worth in Sicily after an uncomfortable spell at Parma since his summer arrival. The former Under-21 international, who has also played for Roma, Fiorentina and Chievo, had recently been dropped in favour of veteran Luca Bucci. In other transfer news, Serie B giants Torino have signed Greek international striker Zisis Vryzas from Fiorentina.
