1.共笔P.10 「respiratory brain ─ 脑死後病人用呼吸器所造成。」 第一个错误在於"respiratory brain"，正确的命名应该是"respirator brain" 第二个错误是respirator brain并不是因为病人用呼吸器所造成。脑死的病人 现在虽然可以藉由呼吸器及药物来维持人体的呼吸和心跳、血压等生理功能， 但绝大多数的脑死病人会在两周内血压下降、心跳停止。此时病人的脑部血流 供应停止、所有细胞代谢消失，所以脑组织不会发炎也不会gliosis，只会慢 慢的autolysis。而呼吸器只是维持生命提供足够的时间让脑组织表现出病理变 化。 资料来源： http://0rz.net/b91qG If a patient with brain death is put on the respirator, the brain (under normal body temperature) undergoes an enzymatic autodigestion which may end in liquefaction.The term"respirator brain" that has been applied in such cases is misleading because the autolysis is not caused by the respirator.
