追求世间利禄的道路，
完全不同於涅盘之道。
应该确切了解此道理，
愿出家人，佛陀的追随者，
不沈湎於世间的功名利禄，
勤修解脱出离的涅盘之道。
《南传法句经5.75》
A嚭ā hi lābhūpanisā,
a嚭ā nibbānagāminī.
Evametaṃ abhi嚭āya,
bhikkhu buddhassa sāvako,
sakkāraṃ nābhinandeyya,
vivekamanubrūhaye.

One is the quest for worldly gain,
and quite another is the path to Nibbana.
Clearly understanding this,
