英国伦敦着名的gig胜地 Hammersmith Palais 於四月一日举行最後一场表演後宣告结束营业 之後这个地点将会改建成办公大楼和餐厅 Hammersmith Palais的历史可以追溯到1919年 刚开始就只是一般舞厅而已 当时叫做Hammersmith palais de Danse 到了60年代开始有些乐团表演活动进驻 70年代末 Punk活动正如火如荼的展开 The Clash 的经典曲 (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais 将这个场地名声发扬光大 之後很多大团也有在这表演过 如U2,The Cure,Rolling Stone等等 到了2001年 开始定期举办恶名昭彰的School Disco (就有点像学生制服派对) 告别表演 分别是3/31的 THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE QUEEN 和4/1 的THE FALL Damon 在表演时 对着台下观众说“Fantastic place this - such a shame ther're pulling it down" 表演结束後 Paul 用斧头劈下舞台的一小部份当作纪念并说 “I reckon I've done enough to deserve a piece of this place, for sure."
