是啊,其实这阵子周遭一直有庞克issue,以及'Huge Celebration of Queen's Jubilee'
vs. 'Fucked The Queen',这阵子会陆续整理出一些..(hopefully!)
some punks goin'on:
- Sex Pistols即将重组在庞克起源地伦敦表演一场(reunion gig).
- 报章杂志高频率出现的,Jonny Rotton接受访问,让提问者得到一些backlash
answers,或是再以些许篇幅将punk scene回顾一次
- Sex Pistols重发God Save The Queen单曲(cdep,7",12"),发行日5/27.
发行3xCD BOXSET(很美的绒毛英国国旗)及单曲合辑(封面-被射杀的皇家侍卫,
让人看了就忍不住想蒐集),发行日6/3.
- HMV推出3张庞克专辑20磅的offer
- Sex Pistols DVD, Clash DVD, punk documentary DVD releases
- Glen Matlock(bass)的团Philistines和Mick Jones(Clash guitarist)昨日
出现在发源地暨决定性的100 Club.(但现在的100 Club外表几乎被脏乱的街道...)
so there are lots goings-on down here..另外,已届20岁的老庞克团Vibrators
上礼拜五一场small anniversary gig,现场好不热闹!!
(所以我可以预见Sex Pistols' gig's gonna be a total dis..disaster...)
之前提过NME和Q前阵子都做的punk special edition,再推荐一次好了;
Q是以"godfather of punk" Sex Pistols为主轴,请各个乐团逐日描述当时的
scene, how it developed and what's going on...交叉以各团的简介以及
当时在scene里的goin'on, art of punk(cut'n'paste, safety pins)..etc.
就在好不容易啃完150页後,半个月後NME也随继推出另一特刊.
NME不像Q以Sex Pistols为主角,平均分配chapter在scene里的各角色,各bands.
(但个人觉得NME的写作方式和题裁较无聊,所以看完想看的就先搁着了..),
不过NME字比较多,如果有人想订的话可以考虑一下孰优..

: 颇有主宰沉寂已久的英伦乐坛的实力,至少胜过媒体过度吹捧的The Music(我觉得啦)
The Music现已经没人要吹捧了 哈
现还是继续吹捧的是瑞典garage punk团Hives,
Alan McGee的Poptones就靠他们补其他众多发行的亏损了,
Hives之红,在TOTP和cd:uk都获得满场喝采...
