最近在念一篇研究IGFBP7与IGF1-R关系的paper
里面有关於实验方法的一句话一直看不太懂
不确定自己的理解是否正确
所以上来请教各位
他说
To gain further insight into the mechanism of IGFBP7-mediated IGF1R blockade,
we used Igf1r-null mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEFs) and their counterparts
reconstituted with human IGF1R.
然後cite了一篇ref.
我想问的是
他这里指的counterparts是甚麽
因为ref.里面是说使用knockout小鼠跟同胎的wild-type littermates做MEF
不过这篇又有recotituted with human IGF1R
所以是使用Igf1r-null的MEFs，再转入human IGF1R吗?
(他材料方法没有写怎麽做的，只有写怎麽养细胞...)
paper作者是Valentina et al., 2012
