柠檬酸循环中间产物 Oxaloacetate 可由PEP carboxykinase催化产生PEP
而PEP可以用来进行醣新生。
lehninger课本中这段
However, as an examination of the stoichiometry of the citric acid cycle shows,
there is no net conversion of acetate to oxaloacetate; in vertebrates,
for every two carbons that enter the cycle as acetyl-CoA, two leave as CO2.
但在第一阶段的柠檬酸循环中,acetyl-CoA的2个碳到Oxaloacetate依然存在
而由Oxaloacetate --> PEP ,2个碳也最多有1个碳变成CO2离开
理论上acetyl-CoA至少有部分转换为PEP进行醣新生
课本上所述重点在於net(完整的)acetyl-CoA去产生碳水化合物吗?
