The main task of the candidates will be to use available tools in order to design an integrated comparative genomics approach suitable for analyzing the variability in the considered species (cow, chicken, pig). The candidates should have a very strong background in comparative genomics, and should be familiar with the most common tools for multiple genome comparison (lagan, pecan, TBA, Mauve…). They should also be very skilled with scripting languages such as Perl and R and have an operational knowledge of the UNIX environment. Post-Docs will be incorporated in the groups of Roderic Guigo (BGG) and Cedric Notredame (CB). Funding is available for 2 years and may start anytime. Application deadline: 30/06. Post-doctoral salaries start at 25-30 K€ but can be adapted according to experience.
