【职缺名称】Postdoctoral position 【徵才单位】Dr. Ching-Hwa Sung lab in the Department of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine 【工作地址】New York City 【工作内容】 The Sung Lab research focuses on understanding the disease etiology of retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneration and Usher syndrome to identify key cellular targets for therapeutic interventions and develop biomarker algorithms to monitor disease progression and effect of treatment. The lab uses a combination of novel mouse models of retinal degeneration, molecular approaches (mouse genetics, CRISPR–mediated gene editing, viral-mediated gene transfer, and molecular profiling), iPSC derived 2D cultures/ 3D organoids and state-of-art omics (transcriptome, proteomics, lipidomic) to answer questions of cell-cell communication, degeneration and immunological interactions in the retinal milieu. The lab has a strong track record of publishing in high impact factor journals (Cell, Nature, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, Dev Cell, Journal of Clinical Investigation). 【徵才条件】 Applicants should hold a PhD, MD or doctoral level equivalent in a related area. Training in molecular, cell biology and immune-histological techniques are required. Experience in animal handling and experimentation are a plus.
