On December 19 of 2006, police in Truckee, Lake Tahoe found Keleher's body and that of a man in a SUV vehicle both with gunshot wounds to their heads. Sgt. Shannan Moon said: "From the investigation it appears that she was shot first and then he shot himself, so it is a murder suicide. It sounds like a closed case." In December 1999 Keleher entered Harrison's Maui estate, cooked herself a frozen pizza and helped herself to a root beer.
