记者询问Stanton，鱼雷棒是否就是他手肘受伤的原因（先前受访时曾经提过肘伤原因是球
棒的改变）
Stanton的回答：「我知道你们想听到什麽样的故事，所以如果那是你们想要的，我不会说
。」
并表示离开伤兵名单後他会继续使用鱼雷棒

Stanton said he will use a torpedo bat when he returns from the IL.

另外快两个礼拜前纽约邮报就有报导过Stanton疑似是更换球棒导致受伤
「似乎有人向Stanton推荐换个球棒，推荐者现已不在洋基体系。」
