LaMarcus Aldridge didn't make the trip, and will miss, at the most, the next 7 days due to plantar fasciitis in his foot. They're calling it day-to-day right now. We were as surprised as I'm sure you are. Aldridge hasn't shown any weakness in games, and hasn't appeared to be favoring the leg. He has, however, been fighting pain, and today an MRI was performed to see what the problem is. Blazer team doctors saw some significant swelling in Aldridge's foot, and decided the best action to take is to sit him for possibly a week or so. This is not an unusual problem in the NBA and rest is always the best solution. It's a huge blow for the Trail Blazers, who have won three-straight games, and have gotten big performances from Aldridge in all three games. He had 24 points, before fouling out, in Sunday afternoon's 117-113 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
