Tell the fans: Don't worry. The good Nick will be there," Van
Exel said Wednesday from his home in Houston.
看到他这句话，算是放下心中的大石了！毕竟他算是在行为和态度
上有争议的球员，不过他肯这麽说，算是一个自我保证了！:)
"The reason I had problems in Golden State was because of my
injury. I wasn't able to do what I had done in the past, and
that got me into moody mood swings," Van Exel said.
真的是这样才让他不高兴的吗？这点还是有请Warriors' fan 指点
了！:p不过既然都已经来到Portland，他大可换个心情，看是当个称职
而极具暴发力的sixth man ；或是和MightyMouse 竞争starting PG 。
当然Nick的伤势应该是没有大碍了（至少从二月二十八日之後，他就没
有上场比赛了，这段时间够他复原了吧！至少在文章中是提到：
it's not
100 percent, but healing。:D），如果他能重拾在Lakers时期的极积
心，再差也有Mavericks 时期的”暴发力”（
XD）的话，对新球季的拓
荒者队会有很大的帮助的。:)
The Blazers already have enough belief in Van Exel that coach
Maurice Cheeks says he plans on playing him 30 minutes a game
in a three-man rotation with point guard Damon Stoudamire and
shooting guard Derek Anderson.
由上面这一段来推测拓荒者队未来的後场情况如下：
SG：Derek Anderson / Richie Frahm or Qyntel Woods
PG：Damon Stoudamire / Nick Van Exel / Sebastian Telfair
当然我知道Qyntel Woods以及Telfair 可能会得到极少的上场时间
，不过就Telfair 的部分，拓荒者队是着眼於他的未来性，他倒可以从
这两名veteran players 的身上学到很多验经。当然等新球季结束後，
Damon 以及Nick的contract都会完结，届时的拓荒者队将会进入一个新
的境界。（到那时的团队薪资仅$19.12million 左右）
Van Exel said he will probably wear uniform No. 19 with the
Blazers, because rookie Sebastian Telfair already has his
favorite No. 31. He chose 19 because two of his closest friends
in the NBA, Cassell and Damon Jones, wear 19 . . .
呵呵！没想到他倒是肯礼让後生晚辈呢！:)
