(老師走到他們旁邊) Teacher: May I help you? 需要幫忙嗎？ Monica: Oh, no thanks, we're just here to observe. 喔，不，謝了，我們只是來旁聽的。 Teacher: You don't observe a dance class. You dance a dance class. Spare shoes are over there. 你們不能旁聽一門舞蹈課。你要跳一門舞蹈課。 那邊有備用的鞋子。 Rachel: What does she mean? 她在說什麼？ Phoebe: I think she means (Imitates) 'You dance a dance class'. Oh, c'mon, c'mon. (They put on some spare shoes) 我想她是說 (模仿) 「你要跳一門舞蹈課」。 喔，來吧，來吧。(他們穿上備用舞鞋) Monica: Okay, d'y'see anybody you think could be me? 好吧，你們有看到誰比較有可能的嗎？ Teacher: (To the class) People! Last time there were some empty yoghurt containers lying around after class. Let's not have that happen again! (對全班) 同學！上一次下課之後有一些優格空盒留在這裡。 希望不要再有這種事發生。 Rachel: She could be you. 她可以當你。 (Music starts) (音樂開始) Teacher: Let's get started. Five, six, a-five six seven eight... 我們開始吧。五、六、啊五六七八... (Everyone starts to dance in unison. Monica flounders) (大家開始整齊地跳。莫妮卡很掙扎。) Monica: Okay, I'm not getting this! 好吧，我抓不到要領！ Phoebe: (Dancing in a swirly, Phoebe kind of way) I'm totally getting it! (用一種旋轉、很菲碧式的跳法) 我完全抓的到要領！ Monica: Did you ever feel like sometimes you are just so unbelievably uncoordinated? 你們會不會覺得有時候你們就是不可思議的不協調？ (Rachel taps into view; she is in perfect sync with the rest of the class) (瑞秋跳進鏡頭; 她跟班上其他人完美同步) Rachel: What? You just click when they click. 怎樣？你只要跟著他們一起點就好啦。 Teacher: Alright people, now everyone grab a partner. 很好同學，現在大家找一個舞伴。 (The girls are unsure how to pair off. Phoebe settles it) (女生們不太確定要怎麼配對。菲碧安排) Phoebe: Okay. And, my, dead, mother, says, you, are, it. I'm with Rachel. 好的。我、死、掉、的、媽、媽、說、是、你。我跟瑞秋。 Monica: Great. It's gym class all over again. 很好。又跟健身課的時候一樣了。 Phoebe and Rachel: Aww. 噢。 Teacher: Well that's all right, you can come up to the front and dance with me. 好，沒關係，你可以到前面來跟我一起跳。 Monica: Why don't I just take off my clothes and have a nightmare. 我幹嘛不乾脆脫光衣服做一場噩夢算了。 (She starts to walk very slowly toward the front of the room. The teacher grabs her hand and pulls her. Suddenly a woman bursts in) (她開始非常緩慢地走向教室前面。老師抓住她的手拉過來。突然有個女人衝進來) Woman: It's okay, it's okay, I'm here, I'm here. Sorry I'm late, okay, here I am. Who's the new tense girl? 沒關係、沒關係，我來了，我來了。 抱歉遲到了，好的，我來了。這個緊張的新女孩是誰？ Teacher: She's your partner. 她是你的舞伴。 Woman: Hi. I'm Monica. 嗨。我叫莫妮卡。 Monica: Oh. Monica! ...Hi. I'm Mo- ...nana. 喔。莫妮卡！ ...嗨。我是莫...娜娜。 Woman: (Fake Monica) Monana? (偽莫妮卡) 莫娜娜？ Monica: Yeah. It's Dutch. 對，荷蘭名字。 Fake Monica: You're kidding! I-I spent three years in Amsterdam. (Asks her something in Dutch) 你開玩笑吧！我...我在阿姆斯特丹待了三年。 (用荷蘭文問他) Monica: Um, Pennsylvania Dutch. 嗯，賓州荷文。 Teacher: And we're dancing. A-five, six, seven, eight... 我們要跳舞了。啊五、六、七、八... [Scene: Central Perk, Ross is entering.] [場景：中央咖啡園，羅斯進來。] Ross: (Mortified) Hi. (羞愧貌) 嗨。 Chandler and Joey: Hey. 嘿。 Joey: Where've you been? 你剛剛去哪？ Ross: At the vet. 獸醫那裡。 Chandler: She's not gonna make you wear one of those big plastic cones, is she? 她不是要叫你戴那個大塑膠甜筒吧，對吧？ Ross: She says Marcel's humping thing's not a phase.
