My two are also into sport and it has been a bit of a journey with Robert. He was a very good gymnast (British champion for his age) but broke his arm very badly last year. This really affected him mentally and he gave it up, which was the right decision but a very difficult one to make. ” （請忽略中年大叔忙於跨國工作，抽空寫message的文法錯誤) 其中，輕描淡寫地帶過Robert從此有心靈障礙，放棄了體操運動 但，我自己google，又發現了下面這則新聞： https://goo.gl/raFLVC 10歲的Robert，在傷後努力復健，又拿了個冠軍 @@ - 決定終止體操生涯(如果爸爸沒有認知錯誤，也不排除媽媽+小孩瞞著工作忙碌老爸的可 能性=_=#)，但決定 ends with glory instead of failure(才10歲耶！@@) 超勵志的！！！尤其Robert不是什麼第三世界的窮苦小孩，只有練體操一條出路 他的家庭堪稱富裕(畢竟老爸有能力，又辛苦工作) 但能有這樣的毅力和決心，真正另人動容 == 昨天早上，帶女兒去學游泳(教練1打4) 不知道為什麼，上到一半，女兒就叫我，說要離開課程了 我確認她沒有身體不適後(眼眶含淚，只是搖頭)，尋求教練的許可，讓她坐在池畔 開始講Robert的故事給她聽 說完後，問她願不願意回到池中學習 她點點頭，回去上課了… == 在我和Robert父親提到，Robert對我女兒的正面影響後，老爸回我的message: "What a beautiful story!! I’m glad that she went back in, swimming is such a great skill to have and being in the pool is such great fun. I’ve sent a photo, as you can imagine we are very proud of him, especially as his had was paralysed for three months with nerve damage. It’s amazing what great doctors and a dedicated physio can do."
