標題[解題] 英文 過去進行式

題目出自: Azar-- Understanding and Using English Grammar (3rd edition)
Chapter 2
目前我教到現在進行式與現在式，讓學生做練習的時候，
發現我自己也不是很清楚的題目:
1. After six days of rain, I'm glad that the sun (shine)__________
again today.
因為沒有附答案，所以只能上來求救。我覺得應該是snows 因為如果是is snowing
表示正在下雪。但因為後面有個today,所以我想應該是指一個事實。
另外兩題是有關過去進行式 與過去式
2. A: I'm sure you met Carol Jones at the party last night.
B: I don't remember her. What (she,wear)______________________?
我覺得有問題的是，過去進行式表視當下的狀態，所以用過去進行式對嗎?
但是我的直覺告訴我是過去式。
3. I really enjoyed my vacation last January. While it (snow)___________ in
Toronto, the sun (shine)___________ in Florida. While you (shovel)_______
______ snow in Iowa, I (lie)________________ on the beach in Florida.
我自己的答案是: snowed, was shining, shovelled, was lying.
這是我的直覺答案，請問對嗎? 另，要如何向學生解釋?
