Will and won't occur in adverbial clauses where the modals express the
present predictability of the occurrence or nonoccurrence of a future event:
1. You may not want to go to summer camp when none of your friends will be
there.
[You may not want to go to summer camp when none of your friends is going to
be there.]
2. If the game won't be finished until ten, I'll spend the night at your
place.
[If the game is not going to be finished until ten, I'll spend the night at
your place.]
The main clause conveys the consequence of the present predictability. In #1
and #2 the consequence is a present decision on a future action.
