He is one of the youngest professors to have received the endowed prof essorship recognition in the US. He is the 2024 NSF CAREER AWARD recipient. Dr. Wang’s research interests include security and privacy, sensing, mixed reality, smart health care, and robotics. He is a co-founder of the cybersecurity progra m at LSU and leads the Mobile and Internet SecuriTy (MIST) lab. His work has bee n published at multiple high-impact security and networking conferences, includi ng IEEE S&P, ACM Mobicom, ACM CCS, ACM CHI, and IEEE Infocom. He is the recipien t of SIX BEST PAPER awards, including Infocom WiSARN 2021, HealthyIoT 2019, CNS 2018, ASIACCS 2016, and CNS 2014.
