標題北加州灣區法律相關人士生涯轉換研討會 5/23

各位在舊金山灣區的朋友們大家好,
我們是一群有著台灣背景, 而在美國從事法律相關行業的人.

又是四月末五月初, 是很多人決定跑道轉換的時候. 因此, 我們
希望辦一個討論會, 讓能夠有類似背景的人, 大家能一起分享.
無論是已經在工作的人, 仍在law school的人快畢業, 或是學期
將盡的學生, 都可以針對在這邊工作的經驗, 之後長期生涯的規
劃發展, 還是對於暑期實習, 甚至於考Bar等的問題提供回答和討
論.
討論會的形式為panel discussion. 一個位於舊金山的boutique
staffing firm (Podo Legal)會跟我們合作提供各式茶點和飲料.
針對大家有興趣的主題, 邀請一些law firm的partner, 以及一些
較年輕律師, 還有staffing firm自己的partners參與討論. 希望
到時也將會包括in-house跟in-firm兩種不同的人士. Panelist名

This is where we will start our discussion, a 5-10 minutes
introduction of each panelist, including your own personal
career transitions regarding
A. Initial career start
B. In firm & in house
C. Different firm size (small to mid, big,)
D. Different position/title
2. 地區性質轉換:
We will then move on to our main issue. Bilingual and cultural
familiarity are why our group fits in a very unique niche,
therefore, how do we aim to serve and maximize our role as the
bridge between U.S. and Asia (Greater China Region).
A. Company's transition, where do we stand as a lawyer under

C. The cultural difference that we need to expect and how to
bridge the difference
