Of which the whole event of a partial solar eclipse on March 19 and only part of the two processes of total lunar eclipses on March 4 and August 28 respectively, can be viewed in Taiwan area. As for the meteor showers, most worth watching events will be present in the second half of the year. A number of major meteor showers such as Perseids on August 13 and Geminids on December 14~15 will be more signi- ficantly. Furthermore, Lyrids on April 23, Southern δ-Aquarids on July 28, Orionids on October 21, and Leonids on November 18 are also noticeable.
