Sipping coffee, smoking cigars, Smiling as he recalls last night's pub flirtations, Dengin scrutinises his women Colleagues' plump hips, flips Through morning papers, and examines social problems So carefully. He adjusts His breath in the mirror, Prepares for yet another weekly meeting. During the luncheon he drinks his usual fill of brandy And needs the afternoon to rest. He's satisfied With the retiring atmosphere in the office. In fact, Mr.Dengin has no concerns Except a promotion and his pension. He buys real Estate, being versed In land speculation. His only work At work is to watch the ups and downs of his stocks. Life is nothing, a series of bounteous parties. Every day, smiling proudly, dignified Mr. Dengin wears his suit and leather shoes.
