Hear the waves of the black sea It no longer belongs to boats Hear the whipping sound of trees Their whispers are from God's memory I walked alone in the midst of night I heard a thousand crickets singing in the grass Not one I could see There was a world even if I strived and I could not touch I sang with them Though not natural but still harmonious I imagined they understood my benevolence With them I waited for the storm For the ghastly wind For the pouring rain For a new world to come For a heart to leap --
