They say poems are fun
They say poems can make you high
But what they don't tell are the nasty side effects and aftermaths of
reading, reciting, and even worse--writing poems.
Reading poems alone is hazardous.
Reciting poems publicly may be arrested, accused and executed.
Writing poems brings lifelong mental discontent.
They open the door, welcome you in
And unleash the Cerberus…
