together we could
while away
the cold dark day
in a brightly lit wood
trying to say
all that we should
well-understood
keeping naught at bay
joining kids in play
in my neighborhood
you know you would
if you should stay
but you are too good
to join in the fray
your love made of clay
my heart made of wood
