There are things in life like the recipes of food People bring to a pot lock party; Each time I ask after praising: “Hmm… Ah…How it is done?” But never really get to do it, Not even just one time-- Determination lessens to admiration and then Boils down to lip service like The exercises my doctor has been prescribing: Swimming, jogging, walking, Chigong, Taichi, and – breathing Until one day a girl asked me to Ping Pong. Oh! Don’t fuss about what grammar part Ping Pong is! I know Ping Pong was meant To be used as a noun like the girl Was meant to lose her right leg When a bus gored it so badly that it was virtually in two parts. Her doctor was good but I think it’s because She demanded it to come back; Six years were spent in and out of the hospital for extension; She swallowed bitter pills among which the biggest one Was the dump of her boy who found out that she had been maimed. Wheelchair slowly became a crutch and then she started To limp and then finally hands free on two feet That took her to Athens and Heidelberg where she sent postcards To her past and took trains to the future.
