標題[創作] Something follows me home－

Something follows me home－
Again－as an Owner－
It darkens my World－arbitrarily－
Permeates and covers－
I cannot see, but sense－
It crawls close to me－and onto me－
Slavering－
Then comes the Spooky Leisure
My Soul struggles hard－so confined－
Screaming for a Flight
Painful is my Body to restrain－
So willful a Soul
While my Nerves dance－unrestrained－
As if to celebrate－
The Opening Ceremony of－
Some kind of Unrest
As expected－the Show begins－
Overwhelmingly－
The Drum－beats aloud and rapidly－
Like a Heart
The Performer unseen－on the darkest stage－
Performs an Awful Feeling－
Therewith I can feel－
The Weight of my Heart
At length the Show is ended－
Then－the calm of Nerves
And the silence of Soul－
The Thing is conquered－by Numbing Despair
p.s. I did turn off the light of my apartment in the evening so as to feel the
loneliness with fear while I was composing it. The poem is apparently
based on an imitational style of my favorite poet, Emily Dickinson.
