Waking Beauty
Glittering silver revealing its sight,
Snows tonight bringing warmth within your grasp,
Such blessed comfort from its cozy light,
Disturbed by sunshine, though you tightly clasp,
Once plain of white now wrinkled in dismay,
A dream to hold, or whatever be bind,
With fingers locked, before the gleam of day,
Not to leave a drop of moonlight behind,
That Luna with her love of serenity
As desires may leap in one quiet flow,
For dazzling Eden with countless beauty
Cannot surpass even a simple shadow,
And tenderness beyond the purest sheet,
Frowns and blushes in a dream, far but sweet.
