To chain sapphire and ruby with gold and silver rings,
That decorate a slope a slide as white and tender and bright,
Wrap to excite beyond silk and linen combined,
For sense of smell and sight beyond incense, skirt and shine,
So greetings and cheers between crystal cup and glass,
Leading a ballroom full
Of powder and spice, with no unwary mind.
