標題[創作] Melancholy Adieu
時間Wed Apr 19 23:11:06 2006
There is a brook I used to swim in, naked.
On the stone-piled bank we shot firecrackers
Off to the vast dark sky of stars still vivid.
Why it turned to cement wall of tinkers?
Behind the three-section compound the barns
Was torn down and splendid villas outcroped.
Blacktop sealed the paddy field and small tarns.
But who then heard the tears of farmers droped?
The Labrador-walkers let loose their noble
Pet and taste country life with joyfulness.
Rustic charm seems amusing and humble
In their eyes tired of city dizziness.
What my father's homeland is shifting to?
Another melancholy moaned adieu.
