The Frost Flower
Icy flake upon gripping root,
Sapphire world of lonely bloom.
Friendly welcome in wavings true,
All green in ash, a realm of doom.
Winter wreaks not my delicate gown,
Beauty shines under chilling gloom.
Powdered sugar in lifeless hue,
Razor-sharp is the blizzard's song.
Slumber calls are summons divine,
Cozy beds where wishes belong.
Constant embrace of solitude's grace,
Lonely waltz performed all day long.
Crystal crown, the fairest of smiles,
Emotions to share, yet company denied.
Strong is my will, luring all hearts,
Daring suitors seeking perfect a bride.
Bold are the knights chasing my trail,
Pouring arrows withering the firmest of pride.
Long is my wait in path of perils,
Countless quest becomes legends of old,
Vigorous love halts not the will to seek,
Peddles of warmth are for hands numb cold.
Blissful youth are dreams eternal,
Azure wonder for courage of gold.
