Writing to myself

How long have I been talking to the air, the emptiness?
How joyous should I pretend when writing to no one?
When will this mumbling pen stop stumbling on the written paper
to wrestle with the lonely soul?
Why should this infinite itinerary fumble with desolation?
This ritual commences with no end
The destined mockery in writing
, escorted by a loyal puppeteer,
who is no one else but me
