標題[創作] Summer Rain

Summer Rain
Rain, droplets of the transparent liquid fall from the sky.
Afar, thunder and lightning rolls ferociously,
Only to alert the citizens of Taipei one news…
Summer is finally here.
Yonder comes the sound of the school bell,
Drawing the school year to an end.
Swarms of students rushed out of the gate
Heading for the nearest cyber cafe.
“Get some sleep!” one may say.
Another might say, “Let’s get crazy tonight!”
No words of refute will come from the school authorities today,
Because summer is here.
No clouds other than their cumulonimbus cousins can be seen.
Those same chirping euphony revisits us every year.
Rhythmic as the sound is,
It washes us out of the school gate,
Only to come visit it again as a more experienced Junior,
No longer that rookie freshman.
Summer storms, short-lived, yet energetic
Like how our ideal high school years should be, I guess.
One third of the trail to college have been marched already,
With total unawareness.
Father time certainly leaves no mercy when he does his work.
Responsibilities, ready to cling on me, soon to be an adult I fear…
