Thus I wander aimlessly
from nowhere and to no place
larger this moment's than the life
no clothes these pretty feet to bind
Thus I wander aimlessly
a step for step and the step conceived
intoxicated in the scent
of the white rose of the life
Lie down, when tired,
and dream a thornful dream,
a twig of the four-branch wand,
my staff, my sword, and my song.
Thus I wander namelessly
on the land the Sun kindly gleams
I am a Fool of men
a crownless old man reaching ten
