The title is "Tapestry" by William Wordsworth. I think it start up as
"Joy and Woe are Tapestry of life, etc"
I first know this poem when I sang it in choir back in 12th grade. But the
lyrics is slightly rearranged....
I think this is how the lyrics go:
Joy and Woe are tapestry of life,
Under every grief and pine,
runs a joy with silken twine.
It is right it should be so,
We were made for Joy and Woe
and when this we rightly know,
through the world we safely go..
Around and around, weaving pleasure and strife.
The wheel of fortune spins a tapestry of life...
In a Myriad of colors, both deep and bright
The fabric of our souls...
Joy and Woe are woven fine,
a clothing for the soul divine.
Under every grief and pine,
runs of joy with silken twine...
