目前有拿到一件THERMIUM版本的Kappa
從官網的敘述裡面
Gore Thermium and Windstopper will perform very similarly
(it is based off of the same Gore membrane technology), but
Gore Thermium is fully seam sealed whereas some Windstopper
pieces would have sewn through seams.
In short, it will perform identically to the previous Kappa
Hoody unless it is raining heavily.
In terms of breathability it is identical except at the seams
(seam tapes are not breathable). It will be negligibly heavier
due to the seam tapes. The durability is identical to the previous
generation Kappa.
沒意外Thermium就是加上貼條的Windstopper，可以增加抗水能力
也就是沒有抗油汙保護層的GTX貼上貼條，所以比GTX更透氣，也因
為有上貼條，所以可以增加抗水能力。
早期Gore不想承認Windstopper跟GTX有關連可以防水，應該就是怕
消費者買Windstopper(沒有抗油汙膜的GTX)，因為膜的脫落，造成
不防水，所以沒有強調Windstopper防水能力，但現在幫他加上貼條
就可以光明正大的說明他有不差的防水性能但是給他一個新的材料
名字是Thermium。

Gore 從沒有承認 Windstopper防水，就連上貼條都沒承認
不過這次可以從始祖鳥官網說明
