I'm a 21-year-old medical student in NTU (TaiDa). I had been in Vancouver for one year when I was about 12. One year is enough to greatly improve one's language ability, but not enough to master one language. Therefore, my English ability is somewhere between an average Taiwanese and a native speaker. As for Mandarin, though I don't really have any experience in teaching it, but since I'm a native speaker, I think I can surely assist you with the basics.
