ShiningRuby did do her research about Americans and live with
Americans for a long time. ^^
Generally speaking, Americans do not want
to see people being emotional. They
only want to see people smile.
Because they do not want to get too personal.
It is not saying that Americans won't be your friends.
I would like to say that Americans respect your privacy.
If you do not want to share your personal life, they
won't force you to say it.
