Off at the Longtan Interchange. Follow brown tourist-attraction signs to Shihmen Dam for about 7 km to where Provincial Highway 4 meets Provincial 3yi. At that point turn right, up the hill, and proceed to the 10-km mark on the 3yi. Left onto road leading up to Kunlun Herb Gardens. BY BIKE FROM ALL POINT SOUTH Except for the last 5 km it's north on Provincial Highway 3 all the way. After passing through Guansi, when you come to the 54.5 km marker,make the next right DRIVING FROM TAIPEI (about 40mins) Second North Freeway to Longtan Interchange. Follow brown tourist-attraction signs to Shihmen Dam for about 7 km to where Provincial Highway 4 meets Provincial 3yi. At that point turn right, up the hill, and proceed to the 10-km mark on the 3yi. Left onto road leading up to Kunlun Herb Gardens. Public Transport; There are buses leaving from Taipei Main Station and Songshan (near brown line MRT) and they also stop at many Taipei well-known places on the way.
