標題[問題] LTE rate matching

我想請問一下有研究4G LTE系統的鄉民
rate matching 或者 circular-buffer rate matching 的用意是什麼?
也就是經過Turbo coding後的systematic和parity bit都要再經過subblock interleave
書上寫說
"The purpose of the rate matching is to adjust the coded block size to
allocated physical resources."
可是這段話對我來說真的滿抽象的~"~ 不了解這個程序有什麼意思~
希望有人能給我些提示 謝謝
