標題[問題] Two dimensional Channel Estimators

最近研讀 OFDM Wireless Multimedia Communication , Ramjee Prasad
(p.97) 有提到 Two-D Channel Estimators
想請教幾個問題 首先最簡單的是
如果作通道估測 用到 adaptive filter
大部分都在說怎麼算出 w (filter的係數) , 就是讓錯誤最小
感覺比較像是通到補償的動作 , 可以做通道估測嗎
就是說可以導出來 channel 的式子嗎 ?
因為以上的疑惑 是因為我看這本書有個式子
用 the minimum mean square error estimate
式子如下:

h = Rhp (Rpp) p , 書本中的 (5.3)式
^ ^
Rhp = cross-covariance matrix between h and the noisy pilot estimates p
^^
Rpp = auto-covariance matrix of the pilot estimates
^
h = the channel estimates
^
第二個問題就是 h 是我要求的 通道響應嗎
那當中的 h 又是什麼 ? 為什麼接收端可以知道
